Obviously is coming back from a 10-month layoff. However, he's in excellent turf form. Last year, he won both the G3 American and the G1 Shoemaker Mile. You can throw out the Del Mar Mile as he was off slow from the gate. He has tremendous early speed and expect him to be on the pace.

FORMULATOR FACT: Phillip D'Amato, :1: Obviously, past 3 years, 180+ days, turf routes (3 of 9 starts, 33%, $2.91 ROI)

Lea is trying turf for the first time since August 2013. In his turf starts, he has a 7: 3-2-2 record. It's unknown what happened to him in the Whitney, but his form should turn back around. Note that trainer Bill Mott is 15% with dirt-to-turf runners.

Mr. Owen is shipping from France, he's won 3 of 6 starts and he's Group 1 placed. He looks fresh, and take note that the owner (Qatar Racing Ltd.) won this race with Trade Storm last year.

For an upset glance, look toward Tower of Texas. This will be his fourth turf start and so far, he's really good running on grass. He won the G2 King Edward and ran 2nd in a non-classified allowance race and the G2 Play the King. His form really turned around once he was switched to turf.
