Lanes End conditions

On Saturday I wasn't able to get a DRF so I printed out the Brisnet pps for Belmont. They called the Lane's End a fast track? That's ridiculous. I remember seeing puddles on the track that day; Birdstone ended up running poorly and we know he got monsoon conditions at Churchill. I wonder what the price would've been if the TP track conditions were correctly listed?

This was 5 days after the Met Mile was run on a very wet surface labeled "fast". I think handicappers are better off keeping their own track conditions in instances like these.

The rain didn't start coming down until after the Lane's End. It rained very hard for the last few races. Part of what Zito cried about prior to the race was that the track was sealed just before the race in anticipation of the rain.

I tried checking w/the Brisbet video library. Guess what? They're missing that race.
