I've become a habitual player of their 4 1/2 F races.

Play those occasionally, but looks like a decent card for Thursday (Thoroughbred meet) :)

Taxicab, you and I are brothers when it comes to Steely Dan. I've attached a young genius guitarist from Ireland, playing a medley of SD solos, who will give Walter Becker, Larry Carlton and Skunk Baxter a real run for the money. Give it a listen, guaranteed to put a smile on your face:

If the heat and humidity is anything like it is today I would have no problem if they canceled the card on Thursday.

Thanks Randall,I'm a huge music fan,and SD tops my list.
The Irish dude was great.....outstanding find.
His second pop was Kid Charlemagne....we were at the Shoreline many years ago and Fagan actually forgot the words to KC(halfway through)......he quickly regrouped.
Don't forget about Denny Dias:

Not to keep this thread off topic but couldn't resist. Just Mark and some old guy (heard him referred to as "Mr Guitar" or something)... and some other friends

It should be canceled! It's going to be the same.

Nice raybo.
Thanks....

Who would have thought that someone like Mark would have adopted Chet Atkins' method of finger picking? That baseline thumb picking style that Chet created has been emulated by some of the best guitarists, of any genre, in the world. As an RCA producer, Chet influenced and mentored hundreds of top notch performers.

Mine too!

Pretty sure Jon White is in charge of posting SA's ML odds, not sure if he also figures DMR's morning line. Russ Hudak?

And Ed Burgart calculates the ML for quarter horses at Los Al. Does he also do the ML for the TB races?
