Are there beaten lengths charts for those races?

Not that I'm aware of, but who needs that when you've got all this great info?

Beaten lengths at the wire only is not enough. And photos of each of the splits isn't very efficient. Hard to believe there's no printed data of position and beaten lengths at each of the splits. They really dropped the ball here. I mean, I don't have hours to handicap a race

I know what you mean. I gave up handicapping entirely a long time ago. There are much better ways to play this game, especially at tracks like Hong Kong. It takes me about 10 minutes to evaluate each race. First and foremost to see if it’s even playable and secondly to see if its got some value. That’s what I like most about HK: The potential for decent value is always there no matter which way you play them.

Also looking forward to the new season starting tonight in Hong Kong, love the large fields. Would love to find a site to have a stable alert for trouble trip horses.

Not sure where you got your PPs (sounds like those crappy ones from South America), but the ones available at Twinspires, Xpressbet and TVG as well as on the hkjc website have multiple beaten lengths calls. That being said, the PPs leave a lot to be desired, and I use those two sets as well as the Power figures from the link already provided by Nitro, as well as drilling down and looking at workouts and replays as time permits.

It's good to be back! Unlike Nitro, I've been getting my clock cleaned at the Spa, Ellis and Del Mar, and need Sha Tin to get back in the black. Last year, I seem to recall the break having little to no effect on handicapping. The horses that raced in June and July seemed to have an edge in fitness, which is hardly surprising.

Those shots of the crowd pouring through the gates were amazing. Crowd should be huge tonight....

Not sure I would be eligible, being from North America, but it doesn't hurt to try. I keep a "manual" list, and with only two days of racing each week, it's not too bad to keep up with them.....
