The winner was sopping wet and pulling shenanigans at the gate, threw it all away though when the gates opened.

Also, winner and place horse were full brothers so maybe that was a factor.

You also very rarely see threads about exactas paying on the low side when the horses are 3/1 & 2/1.

You would think by now people would realize the payout estimation model used falls apart when the odds of the participants exceed a certain level.

yep..I've seen say a 3-1 over a 9-2 in a full field of maidens pay $50

If that was Woodbine (Harness) you would probably see along the lines of $127. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Probably :rolleyes: :rolleyes: . I subscribe to a service that alerts me to races with full siblings running for $500/yr. On average I've gotten back $450 in exacta payouts per year, so it beats the take-out and is the only reason I continue to subscribe :lol: :lol: .
