He threw one of the absolute best trainers in the game under the bus after the guy delivers a triple crown to his trophy case. But, then again, it's the family's money that put the horse in Baffert's barn, so BB will probably hymn and haw when it gets brought up in interviews, saying things like "We're a team, but I'm the guy where the buck stops" and other such tripe. Then, in a couple weeks, they'll all be standing around with a bluegrass sales catalogue in their hands, and Baffert will be saying, "Can we buy that one? Huh, huh? That one looks good. AP, Zayat, Justin and family and Baffert, all of whom I met at Churchill this year have been great for the game and quite unselfish in their availability and the horses availability to be in the public's eye.
