So Royal Asset was entered in the 7th at Saratoga.

Now last time he raced on July 12th he opened up at 8/5 off a 12-1 morning line. The race was a state bred NX1 on the dirt. He was coming off a third place finish in a turf MAIDEN sprint in which he was doubled moved up to first on a rare double DQ. So he was moving up off a third in maiden turf sprint into a NX1 on the dirt off running 3rd. And yet he was 8/5 first flash.

Well the 8/5 drifted to 7/2 and he jogged and won by 5 and 3/4. A 19 point Beyer improvement.

Clearly somebody knew something that day.

So today he opens up 5-1 off a 8-1 morning line in a state bred spring 2X. With about 90 seconds to post he's 9-2. He gets crushed late and goes off 5/2. Breaks a step slow, rushes up, hooked at the top of the stretch and fights on to win by a long neck.

So now somebody has made two huge scores on this horse by the board movement. But its odd. Last time he got hit early. Today late. But both times THEY CLEARLY KNEW.

Feel free to check Andy Serling's twitter feed both days because he mentions most of this.
