Not pretty but 3 points is 3 points.

We certainly did not deserve the three points. Tottenham outplayed MU for long stretches and one poor pass was the difference. Man U better improve quickly if they want a chance to win the league.

Arsenal and Liverpool for me this year.

Amazing what's happening with Chelsea...they lose at home again, this time to lowly Bournemouth.

And how bout Leicester City!?
Top of the table after 15 games

Liverpool is on the move, win tomorrow and up to 5th only 6 points back. In Klopp we trust! So much parity in the Premiership these days, it is like the NFL.

I'm such a mush.

I am right about the parity though. Nearly all the top clubs lost to lower level teams this week.

You're right.
The higher rated teams are not consistent.

Leicester City have been the biggest surprise.
Hard to imagine them in the thick of things come May, though.

Chelsea are the biggest bust. Only a shadow of the team from last year.

Man City and Arsenal still have the best chances.
Man Utd have improved their defense, but cant score very often.
Spurs, Liverpool, and a few others should have a say in things.

It's going to come down to who gets hot (and consistent) at the right time.

Think I read recently this year will have the lowest point total for the champion ever in all likelihood.

That's very possible.
All teams are dropping points regularly.

Don't forget.
Euro 2016 is on in France this summer.
It's close to as good as the World Cup.
Even numbered years are the best for soccer.

Mourinho was always my choice to coach Brazil. Great Coach.

Still rooting for them to go far in the Champions league,

John Terry heart of the English defense. Like in that movie Ironclad

Probably the best teams facing off today.
3 fine goals so far - Man City pressing for a second goal.

There's still a long way to go.
No one is consistent yet, but both of these clubs have deep squads.
Man City are a bit injury prone, though, and that usually hurts later on.

How is Leicester not the best team? They are certainly playing the best right now.

How is Leicester not the best team? They are certainly playing the best right now.

They don't award the title at Christmas.
Not even half of the games have been played.

You have to look at the players in the squads.
Leicester certainly have achieved well - so far.
The depth and quality of players in their squad will catch up to them.

It's like cheap speed leading a horse race.
That low budget squad will eventually fold.
Leicester City may lead at Christmas - they are still 10-1 to win out.

I think it will help that they aren't playing in Euro competitions. Depth isn't as big of an issue. I don't think it is any fluke they are clear right now. There are no great sides this year.

Supposedly Van Gaal has two games to get shit going in the right direction or hes out. I personally hope he goes.

Been waiting for them to fade but they look like the real deal.
Now hold a cozy advantage in the Premiere League after thrashing ManCity 3-1 today...and it wasn't that close :D

A true Cinderella story if they hang on and win this thing.
Amazing

They are a huge surprise.
I didn't think they could hold on, and I still have my doubts.
Wish I'd seen the game, but decided sleep was needed.

What about City, though?
Are they on the verge of a big fold?
This past week they publicly state that they will
have a new manager this summer. I don't blame them
for hiring Guardiola- he is at the top of his profession,
but why announce it now? They are in the running for
the Premier League and the Champions League, and
the present manager, Pellegrini, is now out of a job
at the end of the season. What a way to do business! :bang:

Add in the fact that De Bruyne is out for a long spell.
He is a major factor in the attack, and they will miss him.
They have other injuries too, with an aging squad.
Perhaps Arsenal and Spurs are the only legitimate
threats to Leicester City. What a season it's been!

Chastised?
Saying that I didn't agree with you would be more accurate.
You must be very thin skinned.

I'll give you this, though.
They are a stronger team than I ever thought possible.

Love watching the way they play. Very different style than what I am used to seeing in the premiere league. If they win at Arsenal next week I think it is all over. If I had to bet, I think they win it all.

Leicester are now 9-5 favorites to win the title,
having been 10-1 a couple of weeks ago.
Very volatile betting market.

I've underestimated them because I don't know enough about them.
All I've heard is "Vardy this, Vardy that....".
Leicester City has to have a lot more going for them than a very good,
in form, striker. You can't win this title with a couple of star players.
It takes a full squad of high quality, very fit, players.

Which other players are the driving force behind this team,
or do they just have a great mix of solid footballers?
Sure seems as if they don't have any weak links.
The title is theirs to lose now.

They simply play an attacking style where they chase the ball all over the place. A lot of times it does not look like they have a system or organization at all. They just go get the ball. Vardy has been great in the games I have watched.

They also have nothing but Premiership games which helps big time. No Europe, no more League Cup, no more FA Cup.

don't get the big soccer channels anymore. sucks therefore I'm missing all the action.

60 years old Born in the USA and I'll take the Champions league over NFL, NBA whatever any day. Freaking awesome. all the great Players, then every couple years they play for the Motherland. That Copa America last year was
awesome. My sons and I love to watch the games, yell and scream, we know all the players names like we know the NFL players.

have a few questions for the game watchers

1. How good is Vardy?
2. Wtf happened with Mourinho? I loved the guy at Inter. (great stadium, had a ball there) They were a great team then it's all over overnight.
3. Can Manchester U beat Bayern Munich or Barcelona?

Vardy is a late bloomer, that is for sure. He didn't compete in the BPL til he was 27. He finally got called up to England's national team last year at 28 years old. He is relentless in his work ethic, he is always going full force for 90 minutes a game. Not sure if he is good enough to play for England in the Euro's this summer, but I love watching him play.

Mourinho is the type of coach who players get tired of after a few seasons. We all know these types of coaches in hockey, football, etc. He gets a lot out of his players early on then they tune him out. Chelsea players just gave up completely on him except for the Champions League.

Man U cannot beat the top flight teams, they simply can't score enough. I am a huge Man U fan, so this is completely objective. Bayern is the best team in the world, IMO.

Down to the last 7 games for all teams.
What a race it's been, and still promises to be.

Leicester, Spurs, and Arsenal will fight it out.
I would love to see Leicester see it through.
One of the biggest shocks ever in top flight UK football.

The books take it in the shorts - big time - even in Las Vegas.

Not Premier League, but incredible comeback by Liverpool to advance to semis of Europa League. Were down 3-1 with 25 minutes to go and down on away goals, scored three late to win 403, 5-4 on aggregate.

You could have gotten around 10-1 on your money.

I didn't think they had enough depth in their squad.
Was dead wrong about them - very deserved winners.

I guy that works for us bet them in November along with Tottenham for $100. He got 500 to 1 at the time and 100-1 on Tottenham. He didn't play the exacta though.
