Thought I would post these up just for fun and to compare with anyone's software picks if they care to post.

R-1 :6: 3-1 ML
R-2 :1: 5-1
R-3 :2: 5-2
R-4 :3: 20-1
R-5 :6: 9-2
R-6 :5: 6-1
R-7 :7: 9-5
R-8 :2: 8-5

* One small note about the ML maker @ the Chuck--he may be on drugs and we need to seriously get him into rehab. That 4th race, there is no how, no way that :3: OLDE BAY is gonna be any 20-1. If it's a misprint and he meant 2-1 then I apologize sir. Thats got to be it. Anyway, I gotta run but will post up some picks later here-if you have some of your own, post em up--good luck :)

I have not really reviewed these, but here is I just extracted these from QuickHorse with some recent tweaks I made for Charles Town

Race 1: :4: ML: 2/1**
Race 2: :5: ML: 5/2
Race 3: :4: ML: 6/1
Race 4: :5: ML: 5/2*
Race 5: :1: ML: 7/5
Race 6: :3: ML: 9/2
Race 7: :4: ML: 5/2
Race 8: :2: ML: 8/5**

Quite chalky here. The ones with two asterisks seem to have the highest ranking. The one with a single asterisk is just below those.

Regarding the 3rd Race, the software picked Olde Bay second, so it agrees that it is not even in the double-digit odds.

Hey glad you posted, FW. They're both different except for the last race, which is good. If I bomb completely, I need to do some tweaking--or vice versa. Doing some "normal" 'capping now to see if I can come up with anything to bet.
One reason why I like Mountain & Charles...they race late and they're not hi-class---will post if I can find anything-do likewise if you have time.

This is what I got for Charleston from straight up 'capping

R-3 :3: GINGER SNAP Shows the Class Drop/Top Jock Switch angle (Bocachica) @ 10-1 ML worth a $5 Win bet

R-4 :1: SWAGGER IN 3for5 @ distance. Last race 6.5 F finished dead last comment was "not asked" ..interesting 8-1 ML $5 Win & :1: / :3: $2 ex-box

R-5 :4: PETITE QUALITIES Been off almost a year, in 5 races never even beat half the field, jumps up from mc 12,500 to MSW, so why the optimism? Well, she goes from a trainer that was 1for65 to the monster team of Runco/Bocachica hitting @ 30%. 8-1 ML worth a $5 bet.

R-7 RG LEAVITT STAKES :6: WYE NOT WIN
Just taking a flyer here. Big (turf) pace fig caught my eye, sometime these horses upset at big prices. The :7: looks hard to beat but who wants to cash a $4 win ticket. 10-1 ML $5 Win.
Good Luck all-NCG

My computer is two for two, but anyone can pick the favorite.

They just announced that Olde Bay should be 2/1 rather than 20/1.

3 in a row FWThat is 3 for 3 for the computer. Usually when I play what it picks, the horse finishes up the track.

I am sure the odds will change but there are a lot of races at this park where quite a few horses get astronomical odds for the early wagering.

I will likely go with the :3: in this race, but watch the wagering on the :7: since it should not be 10/1. This place always has some oddball stuff like this. Interestingly, sometimes it stays that way.

Think I'll go with the :5: Whiskey Rock in this one

Actually, I have some spreadsheets running in the background. Just missed an exacta at Evangeline but caught one for over $100 at Penn earlier. Still working out the bugs, but it is just about even for the day.

I think Tips had like 5 winners couple days ago @ Mountain--the next NADA. Thats why you can't bet it's picks straight. I have the main program commited to memory so don't really need it for the tips--its good for something called TRUE CLASS FIGURE and such, saves the headache of figuring that stuff with a calc.

NorCalGreg

LOL you both probably have labs with several monitors running with spreadsheets going and toteboard scrapers with bells going off telling you when it's time to make an optimum bet :D

Sometimes I miss something obvious, but it usually helps.

This race has nothing much to play.

I will play $4 to box the :4: and :7: and hope I get $10 back.

My stuff is too kludgy for prime time.

A few minutes ago, it tried to send 8 wagers on Emerald Downs (including the winning exacta), but the computer was not fast enough to place the bet in time. I have an old XP computer trying to keep up with the rest of the world.

I had tried to use bells and whistles, but that gets too hectic. What race? What horse? How much? Oops!

Okay last race....my spreadsheet (my brain) says to take the :1: POET WARRIOR 10-1 ML...he's had his race since breaking maiden, should be ready to go--I would feel better with a work since. If he's out first he may be long gone. The favorite :2: NOGO makes a good exacta mate, so :1: to win and :1: / :2: XBox

Well, this was the race the computers agreed on.

My spreadsheet thinks there is good reason to like the :4: and the :6:

The Doubles wagering (by my formula) likes the :2: and the :6:

I will use a :2: :6: boxed exacta.

(Now watch: The :5: will run away with it all.)

Sorry guys---wife came home with groceries

....it was put out the dog, bring in the cat, yakity yak .......you know the rest

the rest of the evening think I'll go over the C-town winners from the past few days-I usually skip routes, but since everything here @ The Chuck is around 2 or 3 turns anyway, what the heck. Might be a good idea to try to specialize in the only true 1-turn sprints at this bullring--4.5F. Pretty sure Charlestown runs most of the year, when it's not frozen solid. Anyway, it was fun, we'll get 'em again.
