I noticed that Brad Thomas picked Upstart to win the Haskell and put Competitive Edge second, saying that if the track is as speed favoring as it was last year (when Bayern won), Competitive Edge could steal it. Brad put A.P. third, said he's a "monster" but doesn't have outstanding speed figures. Those of you who don't know much about Brad, he has picked many huge longshot winners, not only in regular races, but many in major stakes races. Going on memory, he picked Lemon Drop Kid to win the Belmont (29-1) and had the $5k trifecta cold, Giacomo when he won the Derby, I think at 50-1, Sarava at 70-1 when he won the Belmont...and many, many others.
