He was down. Then sat up and was talking...

i was sleeping and just woke up and saw that and began praying for him and now it sounds like he is alright.

That was awful. He was taken off in an ambulance on a stretcher, but was responsive.

That was as bad of a fall as I've seen in a while.

On/near the lead in the middle of the track, in the stretch, of a turf race.

Great to hear good news thus far.

i grunted three times during the fall. So glad that he was responsive to his attendants. Let's hope for the best..

I am amazed he's not severely injured or worse.
I'm certain many of you have viewed the video.
This was among the worst looking 'trampling'(s) I have seen since I started watching horse racing some 40 years ago.

Yeah, we were discussing that race in another thread, in real time. I was watching it on Twinspires and it was very hard to not turn away from the screen. Could easily have turned out much worse!
