now that Lone Star has completed its meet, the horses from there have to go someplace. the Texas Breds will be off to Retama, but the open horses can show up anywhere. some will go to Indiana, Arlington Park and maybe other places.
i watched that place with their $20,000 maiden special weight purses. those races looked like they had some trainers there that knew what they were doing and they were very tough races. don't be completely surprised to see those horses show up in other places and start winning stake races as 2 + 3 year olds. that 2 year old program was real good because the races went and they were all full fields.
