Jockey Angel Castillo aboard Market Blaster was quite willing to give more than the one sponge squeeze cool down.

When you check out the Replay you will clearly notice that the assistant Groom with the Bucket was figuring that the Initial Dip was enough.

Angel gave it two Extra Dips.

The horse ran his eye balls out. Dueled in between in a three way and then re-rallied to get up.

But here's the rub. On paper he didn't look any different figure wise than the 3,5 and 6. However he opened at 6-5 from a 4-1 ML drifter to 3-1 then got hammered while they were in the gate to 3-2. Then ran his eyeballs out.

Always odd how one horses in a wide open race takes big early and late money and runs his eye balls out.

Somebody had a rather strong hunch...
