One poll in New Hampshire has him down only 8 points to Clinton. He has had 200,000 campaign donors compared to 45,000 to Clinton. She still has at least 5 times more money, but this could get interesting. His popularity on FB and other social media is really growing.

Yes, because what the country REALLY needs at this point is a President even further to the left...

Even further left might be better than Hilary. She lacks everything. She's also a disgusting filthy liar, even more so than Obama. It's remarkable she's even in politics. No personality, a horrible speaker, and a shit-eating grin that could turn back time. If not for Bill she'd be nothing more than a crooked lawyer. Not a very good one either because she's so unbelievable.
She disgust me.

We know Sanders had at least two people show up at the Netroots "discussion", if you can even call it that.

I don't know how many there were his supporters, but most of them were not. The BlackLivesMatter crowd booed O'Malley off the stage, and then did the same to Sanders.

Sanders walks off the stage. Guess what would have happened if they did that to Trump. He would have humiliated them. I know which one of the two I would want to lead our foreign policy.

Right or wrong, I believe that's what the majority of voters believe.

Why am I not surprised?

Bernie says that the inequality of wealth in this country is a problem and the government is the solution. The government needs to redistribute wealth to make things more "fair".

Please explain, without the use of cartoons, how it is morally right for the government to take the property of someone that has legally earned it and give it to someone else, based on a subjective determination of "fairness".

Awesome, he is running on the same demonize the wealthy premise that got Obama elected.

What I find amusing is that I can't recall anyone making mention of balancing trade. I only made it through economics 101 in college but it
makes sense to me that if more money is leaving the country than coming in that lowers the opportunities for financial success for many people.

So you whole-heartedly agree with Sanders' position that since the dawn of time---there have always been..among the "successful" humans-- the less-intelligent losers, ne'er-do-wells, and just plain lazy....and while we "successful" (you can take that any way you want) in America are just handing over our funds, we should be donating more?
So more of my money can be foolishly frittered away on ridiculous school programs that they DONT want to attend? Jobs they DON'T want? Go relax in your posh Tahoe digs....none of them ne'er-do-wells live any where near you. Sorry to be rude H4C, but I've had it with Bernie.

Bernie just wants the millionaires and billionaires to pay their "fair share". Like a progressive tax rate that tops out at 90% at the highest bracket.

Now, why would we want anything like that?
Everything has been so equitable in the past 40-50 years, don't you think?

When you mouth off about a 90% tax rate, that's all conservatives hear.
Consider how many millions and billions you would have to earn to pay that.

The top 20% of income earners pay 84% of income taxes. The top 1% pay almost 40%. You think that is not "equitable"?

I point out that Bernie Sanders is proposing some really stupid tax policies and I am "mouthing off"? You know who would pay such a rate? Nobody. But a lot of CPAs and tax lawyers would be raking in the fees.

Since you think this country is so unjust, just move to Cuba and live life to the fullest. And take Bernie with you. The Castro boys will welcome you with open arms.

The Wall Street Journal has calculated that Sanders' proposed policies would cost an additional $18 trillion over 10 years. His proposed taxes increases so far would total over $6 trillion over the same period.

Good old liberal economics. Same as it ever was.

We are only in mid September. By the time Iowa and NH kick off the primary season, those numbers will be a lot higher.
