We have a decent field of seven for the G1 $750,000 Delaware Handicap at Delaware Park. The weather forecast predicts a thundershower in the Wilmington, DE area (http://http://www.accuweather.com/en/us/wilmington-de/19801/daily-weather-forecast/327535?day=1), but let's just hope for the best.

I don't like going for favorites too much, but Sheer Drama just seems the best one in here. She has a favorable running style which can either go to the front or sit behind horses. Out of her five starts this year, she has won the G2 Royal Delta and was runner-up in all the other four. She has speed and is capable of running against grade 1 competition.

Frivolous hasn't been much of a racehorse. Sure she upset the G2 Falls City at 19-1 for her 2014 finale, but she finished sixth in her 2015 debut at Keeneland, which was and allowance race. She came back to finish dead last in the G1 La Troienne at Churchill. However, she pulled off another upset in the G2 Fleur de Lis, this time at 32-1. I don't always expect a previous longshot who won last time out will do well in her next race, but I'll make an exception.

Flashy American was second twice out of her three starts this year. First time in the G3 Bayakoa at Oaklawn, and second time in a non-graded event at Prairie Meadows. She has some ability, but needs to show more to be ready to face grade 1 company.

Rosalind ran fourth in the G1 Ogden Phipps on the Belmont Stakes undercard, though according to TimeformUS, the track was slightly speed-favoring that day. Plus, she had to face the likes of Untapable and Wedding Toast. She gets easier horses to run against.
