You started a new thread. That's the first step.

Scroll to the bottom of that New Topic/THread page, and at the bottom, you'll see options for the Polls. You might need a minimum number of posts before posting a poll, but at 585, I suspect you're there already.

I've started a few. And, you're correct. He'll need to start a thread with a post then scroll down and select poll before hitting submit. You need to have some idea of the number of items for selection because I don't think you are allowed to go back to the previous screen.

But, I don't think you need a minimum # of posts because I started one when I only had a couple.

Not realizing what I was walking into I put a well-meant post about PP offerings in that thread. Disappointed to see it subsequently locked, but I get it now.

Poll or no poll, it was actually a constructive thread anyway. The post CJ referred to was rock solid. I know I'm incapable of adding anything to any discussion as meritorious as that.
