Does anybody have a list with the Harness Track Codes used by Brisnet ?

I would very much appreciate a list or a pointer to a site showing that list.

I tried to navigate the Brisnet.com site but it is not very easy to unearth the desired info from that website.

Thank you very much!

This info is GREAT! I'm going to start adding harness tracks to my track visit list. So many to try to get in. I don't think I'll be able to memorize the track abbreviation list. :faint: Looking to add two small OH fair race meets in obscure towns to the list in about 3 weeks. :jump:

Now if I could only learn to handicap harness races (better). Such a different challenge than the world of thoroughbred racing.

Thanks you very much! Great link!

Is this list complete? I scaned over the list and I can't see there Yonkers and Northfield: are these tracks not playable at Twinspires?

Good question. I'm not sure why those two aren't listed. Yes you should be able to wager on them through Twinspires.

FYI -
There are NO Harness tracks listed in the above link... these codes are for thoroughbred track that are or once were operational in the USA.

I do not believe this USTA listing has the Harness Track abbreviation codes. However it is a link to Harness Tracks and their location and their website.

I thought that I seen Mohawk, Meadowlands, Dayton, etc and I assume that these were the current Harness Tracks... perhaps they had once TB races there...

Track designated as Lexington from the link, is the Red Mile(Lex1).

Brief side note on the Mile, with Keeneland turning over simulcasting to them, lot of renovations and upgrades happening. New facilities for the simo and the new instant gaming as well. Where I'll be for Friday's BC card...

Live meet starts the 26th..Schedule (http://www.theredmile.com/redmile/racing/live-racing-schedule)

NJ Used to have a whole bunch of fair dates across the state for NJ Sired horses.
Places like Stanley Dancer's Egyptian Acres Farm...Big Z Farm which is as far up in northwest NJ as one can get.... it's almost in NY....Then Gaitway Farm on Rt 33 the only training farm in the state with a one mile track .
I always wanted to check out some of the Ohio Fair racing.
The trick to handicapping harness is no trick at all. On half mile tracks where favorites win a devastating 40% of the time, come from inside posts.
On the three and two turn tracks it gets a little interesting.
Wind speed and direction is a huge factor in capping harness. This is especially true on 5/8ths, 7/8ths and one mile ovals...
