I had no idea Bill Benter is a relatively young man...and I'm surprised that a guy who is this well known in gambling circles has no wikipedia page... :lol:

My guess at his age would be in his 50's, although he doesn't look it. The lack of a wiki page surprises me. I suspect they may have taken it down because of errors, but that is just a guess.

I'm guessing, he has to be currently in his 60's. He was gambling in Vegas mid to late 70's. I read somewhere he was 40 + in the 90's.

According to this website, he is 42. :confused: According to another website, he and a friend went to HONG KONG, in 1984, with $150,000. He would have been 11. :D

This article from 2000 would place him at either 57 or 58 today.

That's roughly my age. In the mid 70's while he was perfecting his blackjack chops, I was dropping acid and hitchhiking to the beach. I guess there really are consequences.

In this video Benter refers to a Hong Kong professor (Goo Ming Gow? or some such) who he borrowed a method of solving some math problem. I probably have the name wrong. Has anybody done any research on this Chinese mathematician?
