R8 Sat Mth the #4 has this in the last race comment line
Came in st; kins; 3W upr

I assume the first line means came in @ start ,not familiar with kins & is 3w upr 3 wide in upper stretch??
Thnx!

I usually look it up on equibase: Talk Time's last race (http://www.equibase.com/premium/chartEmb.cfm?track=BEL&raceDate=05/22/2015&cy=USA&rn=3)

Thnx for the link The chart really doesn't explain kins. The horse came in sharply @ start & rallied 3 wide in the stretch I don't know where the kins fits in

Now that I re-read it , it probably means kept inside The chart says raced detached from the others on the inside

They should have said "rail" or simply "ins"

This was a typo, was supposed to be "ins" (for inside).

It has been corrected.

In the future please send email to feedback@equibase.com if you notice something like this so it can be corrected. Thanks.

I like "shuffled in" (or "shuffled out"), where it is applicable.
