This looks like :1: Florida Won's race to win. Beyond him, the options for picking a proficient closer are slim.

He lost his last start finishing fifth I think, but that's not really a concern.

BRIS PPSs (http://www.brisnet.com/php/bw_pdf_viewer.php?track=WO&race=8&param1=79&param2=4424&param3=1402440)

1 Florida Won (KY) 12/1
2 Smooth Stone (ON) 20/1
3 Midnight Aria (ON) 5/1
4 Pender Harbour (ON) 6/1
5 Red Rifle (KY) 7/5
6 Mystery Train (ARG) 3/1
7 Patrioticandproud (PA) 8/1

:7: PatrioticandproudHe would be my second choice. As long he doesn't go for the lead, he has a shot.

The ones I can eliminate from win contention are Smooth Stone and Midnight Aria.

Pender Harbor might come late, but he is not good enough to win.

Red Rifle has some class. Mystery Train will make it difficult on him.

Florida Won and Patrioticandproud seem like two solid closers that can upset.

Don't play WO but this is DRF's Race of the Day for Wed. so I printed out the pp's.
I like the :3: Midnight Aria at 4-1 or better.
3rd start after a layoff, loves the poly, all the "E" types in the race alarms me some.

I always seem to put up a broken BRIS link.

It does not seem easy for Midnight Aria...not with Mystery Train, a horse speedy enough to derail Game On Dude in last year's Pacific Classic.

pletcher is 7/5. Gotta start there. What happened last time?

How many Casse horses are live?

my concentration level isn't ready for this yet, but it could be a betting race on some level if you make a case against Pletcher.

I think Red Rifle is then using this race as a prep for the Valedictory in a couple months, lol.

Casse has entered 3 for the race, Robert. 1,6,7.

Red Rifle..heh. Excelsior.. I now enjoy betting against him every chance I get.

Leaning toward the 4&7.. I think there might be some value in the late double as well.

That's on Dec.29, he may need a few more preps.

Pender Harbour is my choice loves the track and distance is no problem,
especially with all the speed entered.

Well, :1: Florida Won is definitely being bet more than expected. Currently 5/2.

Pletcher + the Live Casse horse (ML ended up way off, didn't it?)

Tough race for me , I could not bet that.

Tough race for me , I could not bet that.I was going to put a few dollars.

Once I saw Florida Won go from 12/1 to 5/2, I balked. He ran well though.
