Hollywood picks for Monday:
R1 - #3 Kimmy’s Kid-Looking for a send job by Espinoza here. ML fav has a bad post to overcome, hoping that this one can clear early.
R2 – Pass. Short field, tough favorite.
R3 - #8 Onlyamatteroftime-Should get the lead in this field. Has been chasing fast fractions in large fields. The drop into mcl should move him up.
R4 - #4 Royal Moro-Showed big time early speed last time when the shades were added. He’ll be tough if he can establish an uncontested lead here.
R5 - #12 Tapio-Hasn’t really run a bad one yet. Showed he could route with last run, and turf is no problem.
R7 - #1 Singletary-Tough race, but he’s the one I like best. Has been super consistent, and I like his running style. 7/2 or better for a bet here.
R8 - #3 Kid Royal-Wow, he really moved up for new barn. When the fastest closer is also the fastest at the half, it’s pretty hard to go against him. Anything above 8/5 will get my money.
R9 - #9 Buddy Gil-Put it all together last time. Showed he could press a fast pace and still finish last time. No price here though so exotics is probably the only way to play him.
R10 - #8 Lover Come Back-Showed improved early speed last time. Gets blinkers today, switches to Smith.
