Favorite stalked nicely, got through on the inside and got up to catch the speedy leader. Top pair bet heavily. My :4: dog was poised behind the winner coming into the turn, and had nothing for the lane.

the show payoff was a penny on the dollar, i don't have any idea what the top rebates are there except that Mark Read's pays 11% which would make the payoff $2.24 for every $1.78 that you put up, maybe not that bad a wager at those numbers.

Tote lights up again. It's not often I complain about my jockey, but Purton choked the :7: back soon after leaving the gate, then rushed him to the lead wide, and had nothing left late.
