I have a story for you.

It is like 3:30am and I am playing BJ at the Aladdin Hotel (1976, I'd guess). All the pits are closed except this one, and the action is going pretty good.

I look over into the next pit, at the far end, and I see 2 guys in suits. I am wondering what they are doing. They seem to be doing something with the drop box, but from the side.

I am so curious that I leave my seat and circle around to sneak up on them a little - just kind of matter-of-factly.

I get a clear look. There is a side door into the drop box! It is open and they are grabbing fistfuls of dollars and stuffing them into a couple of drop boxes on the floor!

I stand there astounded as they go to another box.

Now, after years of life in the gaming industry, I certainly know how impossible this is because I have seen the structure of a drop box and the frame around it. Yet, I also know precisely what I saw.

My point is that nothing would surprise me.

All that being said, somewhere in the original story there was probably collusion.

Nah, really?.......I was approached so many times as a dealer and supervisor with ironclad proposals of sure money with no risk, that I actually thought of letting security in on it so we could tape it and sell it to other casinos for protection......

So try this one, live at the scene of what just happened:

I took a trip to foxwoods, left at 4 pm yesterday afternoon (Friday) then got back recently at 4am - ish (Saturday morning/today). I lost about $300 while i was there. However, when i walked into my room i discover that my stash box is in a slightly different position than i left it. Open it up and yeah, no money in it. thankfully i just took out $500 for the casino so there was only about $700 left in the box. Also I had $800 in another box that was on top of my dresser, Not in a sock drawer that was shut. Yet that money was still in that box. now my roommate claims that the only people that were in the house were three other girls and some dude i have ever met. Yes I had a 9 iron in my hand and went into the room and ran the guys pockets, boots, boxers, everything. NO money. Of the three girls; One used to be a really good friend of mine when we were in high school and i cant imagine her stealing from me. The second girl is very quiet and i really couldn't see her stealing my money because...i dunno because i am leaning that the third girl, who i had rented the third floor apartment to until february this year could have done it because when her and her husband moved out they left stuff in the basement and i gave them months to move it before i finally just threw it out. So shes not allowed over anymore even if she is my roommates best friend. I just played cards for 11 hours and i cant sleep because i have to figure out a mystery.

In the end

Its just money

I am just going to pretend I lost it all playing poker, then i will feel better about it.

I will now call my roommate an idiot for months. no more name, just idiot.

i don't know what to do really.
