Hope I don't jinx ya, Rarified. I thought the :8: looked best in the post parade, and does look like he'll go to the lead. It's hard win on the front at CD though on the turf, or at least it used to be. Don't follow that track much.

The :8: got some unexpected pressure from the :3: but didn't look bad around the turn. Then petered. The :6: closed nicely at decent odds if they don't take him down.

Gonna try speed again in race 2 with the :4: Not super enthralled with maiden types and firsters but I am here to select so here we go. 1 unit to win 2 units to place.

DQ'ed the chalk in race 1, and left the winner up. Wow! The hue and cry, especially from those of us who play SRU Downs where they "pay the winners".

In race 2 I like the :6: on the stretch out....

at one point the :6: was certain to pass the :4: . i think the :4: caught a nice early lead and had some left in the tank.

i can't find anything i really like. all of the horses i think have a chance are speed and so i see the speed burning out. i hate selecting faves but the only horse that looks like it can sit back a bit is the :7: . horses like the :2: which i would maybe take as a long shot is 5/2.

this next race is stacked! what a field!

ok i am going on feel here. the inside is playing well and the :1: is super solid. i think he saves ground the best and gets the win. but this is a field anyone can get this.
