re: Turf Report

The Turf Report just reveals turf pedigree. It's pretty simple. It gives the turf sire's 2014 rank out of the top 88 turf sires. This info is useful if a horse is returning to grass from a dismal performance on dirt/synthetic or if it's a first time starter on the grass AND it has proven turf pedigree (these can pop at big prices....one just hit on Wednesday June 10th at Belmont. Blue Beryl $48.20 in the 9th race. First time starter on the grass with a sire ranked #12 for sire earnings in 2014).
