I'm sure that he'll have the double well covered, if he needs it. ;)

I was talking to a salesman that works for a Rancho Mirage auto group who was exited that they had just acquired the McLaren brand. I asked him how many of the $250,000+ cars they expected to sell.
"All of them", he replied. "If they give us twenty or fifty doesn't matter."

Why doesn't he just donate 5 billion dollars worth of shares to some foundation that will address his biggest concerns and reflect his values?

He'll get a better night's sleep, will still be rich, and won't have to worry about some government eventually taking a bunch of it and using for things that don't reflect his values or in ways that are not efficient.

I'm getting tired of these rich dudes whining about problems or siding with government expansion when all they have to do is start cutting some checks so we can begin addressing some of the problems in efficient effective ways that reflect non political priorities.
