9th @Mountaineer 6F MdSpWt ~ purse $14,1000 ~ 6/9
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Maiden Special Weight (MSW) for 3Y0 maidens.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Familiar Foes face-off after lone new shooter scratches early.
Heavy fave in ML adds blinkers to try & sharpen early speed.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Bobbys Dream (15/1 ML)- Was 67/1 vs. ML fave two back but
ran OK before shuffling back behind tiring speed top stretch. Chuck last.
2) Mi Amigo (7/5 ML fave)- Trainer white-hot 15/36 last 30 days
& 15/71 since 2012 adding Blinkers. Keeneland 4F work 5 days ago.
3) Wouldn'titbenice (10/1)- Lost all chance after lugging out into
horse at break, now loses Quinones. Expect all out send. Know early.
4) Heza Tailwind (8/1 ML)- EARLY SCRATCH for PID shipper.
5) Do What i Ask (5/2)- Solid 2nd last, trainer Sipp would likely
be well +20% win mark w/out so many entries run. No entry=intent?
6) Never Ceasing (15/1)- WV-Bred was vet scratch June 1 @PID,
adds lasix & journeyman jock w/3 mounts this year.
7) Include Vision (7/2)- Bracho back up, bet <10/1 every start,
likely sits third behind #'s 3+5 early, unless Blinkers sharpen Amigo.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EARLY LOOK: i HATE to be "Captain Obvious",
but Reed/Parker/FTBlinks= 3/5 fave that looks tough to beat.
Likely will carry +75% of Pick-5 tickets as a single last leg,
so if you can beat Amigo, an overlay payout awaits.
The "other two" logical choices, #'s 5+7, figure to be
getting first run on big fave, so if speed's doing well,
move up their chances.
My #CrazyLongshot is #1-Bobby Dream, who's been beaten
+128 lengths in 4 starts, but is the lone foal to race so far from
stakes-winning sprinter & $144K earner Reachforthecastle.
I'll go Two deep in Pick-5, #'s 1-2, & try small Pick-4 saver
using #'s 1-5-7. GOOD LUCK to ALL, & see you at #NightSchool!

8th @Mountaineer 5.5F Alw5000s ~ purse $12,000 ~ 6/9
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Starter-Allowance, 3YO+up,that have run for $5,000 tag or less in 2014-15.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A Quality field of 5 runners have combined for 65 wins in 237 starts.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Rephrase (8/1 ML)- 5YO steps up to Starter Company off $7,500
claim.Favored vs. Goose two back.Closer gets pace, but needs to 'class up'.
2) Goose No Fruit (9/5)- 6YO had career-top 81 Beyer by 6 pts. in
second off layoff vs. $10k foes for owner/trainer that improves his stock.
3) Blizzard Buddy Ben (8/5 ML Fave)- 10YO warrior returns after
dominating Mahoney Valley starter foes & brief freshening.Proven at Level.
4) Reign of Kings (7/2)- Lone new shooter, 8YO showed speed+fade
first off claim/layoff. Back Beyer fit, outside speed, but why layoff off win?
5) Rockin' Rockstar (5/1)- 8YO strong 16/65 lifetime, 5/20 here,
but finished nonthreatening 3rd & 7th in two local starter tries.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
EARLY LOOK: The Co-ML faves, #'s 2+3, need no introduction
& would be no surprise. Will Goose lay an egg off his Top Beyer?
Can Buddy Ben fire best his shot off 52 day break & one 3F cantor?
#'s 1+5 have done well locally & hope for a major pace meltdown.
#4-Reign of Kings goes 2nd off layoff & gets unheralded rider
Isais Nunez, who's been fantastic this year & draws outside faves.
I'll take a stand and single Kings in all horizontal action.
GOOD LUCK to ALL, & see you at #NightSchool!
