That is actually a refreshing change.
Clear cut winner already.
No discussion necessary until the following year.

Said the same thing to wife after race... and I think Baffert locked Eclipse for Trainer.
Thank God! Nothing dumber than endless threads about who deserves an arbitrary vote by a bunch of writers.

Indeed! Finally! I can't wait to see what is next for AP!

Well if Chromie wins the Prince of Wales, Arlington Million and BC Classic (maybe ahead of AP), it would be tough to deny him HOY on that too.

No doubt AP has it locked in. I don't see how any other horse could do anything that would make it a contender for HoY. Am I wrong? How?

Chrome last won when? Over a year ago? And you propose that he'll win his next three?

Throw in the Arc and it'll be a firm maybe.

Could you imagine if AP and Shared Belief went after each other in the BC Classic. What a race that would be.

That shouldn't be true but is. if Seattle Slew can't win it in 1978 after kicking Affirmed's behind twice, nobody can.

Consider it a moral victory if he finishes in the top 5 in the Prince of Wales.

Assuming that AP remains in the same condition, there is no match to SB or anyone else currently in training; he will crash any horse who is going to run with him any day of the year..
