Fan seriously injured by broken bat at Fenway.

Just got a breaking update on my cell phone since I live in Boston. Usually it's news on Tsarnaev, or Aaron Hernandez. Said, fan taken to hospital with "life threatening injuries" from a broken bat.

I really hope this person is okay. I seriously don't understand how more people don't get hurt by balls, bats, pucks, etc. So dangerous. The games are so fast.

I have predicted that this would happen but I always thought that it would be an infielder that was impaled. I truly hope this person recovers. Going to a ballgame should not be life threatening!
