Every article I've ever read on PMM claims do not bet on every race some races are unbettable.Yet when a nonplayable race comes along the pros always try to beat it.(grasping for straws).
I bet Smarty to win in the Derby.(win only)I didnt bet the Preakness why?With my $50(small capital)I would have bet three $10 exactas on Smarty over longshots.,and two $5 exactas with Rock Hard and Lion Heart. This would not have worked out to great.(+11.50).Two Beers(lol).Sure Smartys day will come like Slew's and Cigars,Man O war,etc.There will be a big longshot payoff.But not on June,5,2004.My advise buy a souvenier Ticket on Smarty,buy a beverage,sit back and smell the roses(relax and enjoy history)..
