I quit paying attention to ESPN regarding horse racing when they gave up on horse racing. The network has always had a problem with sports that aren't televised by ABC or ESPN. It's like the old saying if a tree falls in a forest, if a sporting event not carried by them, does it actually happen? I am pulling for AP just so ESPN has to talk about it. Maybe they will give it more than 30 seconds of them running down the stretch, then they can go and show 10 minutes of golf highlites.
