Could be a great idea, I honestly don't know the horse that well to guess along w/ surface/distance.
First, lets get him back to his peak level on a consistent basis.

I set the over/under at 1 1/2 on the number of races left in Carpe Diem's career. Typical Pletcher pattern -- costs a mint, runs fast at 2, gets a Derby prep win somewhere, overmatched in the Kentucky Derby, retires soon after to lucrative stud career rather than be fully exposed as a notch below the best.

He just outworked Madefromlucky in a hand ride. Surprised they are not giving the Belmont a go. His pedigree is decent for the trip.
