I too have a copy that I sent away for back in the mid-1990s. I haven't really used it much. However, I did glean a couple of ideas from it (like the "closer to the front horse") and incorporated them into my eclectic handicapping methodology. But now that you've mentioned it, I'll pull it out, dust it off and re-read it .

The System is 21 pages. A booklet of sorts. A few interesting
ideas....but nothing we havent seen before. A strange thing
about it is this :

The first part is a " points " system to get the top 2 horses
in the race. If one or both of the top horses are going off at
7/2 or better...you have a play ... If not ...

You must go to the 2nd stage of the system.. etc etc...Trying
to find a qualified horse. Once you find a qualified horse...you
Stop there and bet it. Looks like mostly chalk .. but the first
race I checked.. .. .. Of course I wont it with a 6/1 shot.
We shall see.

BeatTheChalk, So how is it going with the M & S system? I had a copy of it years ago and actually don't recall much about it. I alos spied it on eBay and asked the seller what success he had with the "computerized" version of it he had programmed. Please let us know how it has panned out.

Havent had too much time to check it out ... there are some easy
rules... but then if no horse makes it on rule 1 .. go to rule 2
etc. I will have some time in the next few weeks to check it out..
although in my heart of hearts...I dont hold out much hope...
