I didn't want to hijack Barn's Tasty Trade thread but his comment on volatility reminded me of this article.
Chuck Carnavale is a guy I follow at Seeking Alpha. This article attempts to debunk the notion that volatility=risk. As a sidenote, the F.A.S.T. Graph website is a fantastic tool for anyone doing fundamental stock research. Best $10/month I spend.
