bet a couple of pk3s at del. cd and belmont. made my bets in the mourning then left for work. days over, get back check results. lose, lose, lose. at delaware tho i hit the 8th race pk3

8th
1,3,4,6,7,8 #1 paid $25

9th
2,3,4,6 #6 paid $13

10th
2 #2 paid $4

but for some reason i forgot to make this bet. didnt bet it, just forgot, i guess i thought i made all my bets and just missed this one.

at penn on a night when the longshots wouldnt leave me alone, all i needed was one lousy favorite in one lousy race to make two pk3's

and at del when the longshots and the one favorite does hit for me, i forget to bet it. hey free, does this guy to the left remind you of anybody ahhhhh, me?

One of my worst screw ups ever was when I didn't include a 1/5 shot (from the rail!) which had won 9 races in a row at Yonkers in the final leg of a pick 4. The sucker paid $1,800.
Learned my lesson that night, always include a horse on a winning streak.

Second screw up ever was when I was about to play a $24 pick 4 in $1 increments also at Yonkers, changed my mind at the last minute and played a $4 ticket. My original ticket picked a $50 winner, a $80 winner and a $100 winner (I missed one of the legs which paid $60). 3 out of 4 paid $4,500.
My stomach still turns over that one.

I left Stroll of my Derby pick3 and 4. That was stupid.

had you of played the $24 ticket then that $60 winner would have been in there?

I would have missed the p4 anyway, p3 paid $1500. Stroll had won like 6 straight going into his race. oops.

No, I would have missed the $60 winner. So if I had made the $24 investment, I would have shared in the $4,500 for the 3 out of 4.

What gets me even more is that I had picked three winning big longshots on a half-mile harness track, and couldn't take advantage. Oh well, that's what happens when you bet with scared money.

I luved this horse.

Saw his name in the pp's and said to myself, 'Use that one.' This was the night before.

Anyways, I was working hard at other tracks and forgot this sucker was running. Somehow I made a p-3 ticket and forgot to include him. I don't know how I did this.

Well you know the rest.
