Does Equibase no longer list this distance in their charts?
Kee chart for April 12 has the Beaumont at 7f, but it was really run at ~7f.
The track record is listed as 1:28
The 6th race, also at 7f, has a track record listed as 1:24 and 2
They've already done away with Gr Stks notification in their charts; the above mentioned Beaumont is just listed as a Stakes race with no graded status.
It's a Gr3 race.
The silliness never ends :faint:

It appears that they no longer differentiate between the Widener and Inner turf courses at Belmont also.
A race is just listed as 6f TURF; they have 6f races on the Widener and 6f races on the Inner...you have to check the track records to see which is which if you don't have the pp's handy.

Keeneland's condition book describes ~7 furlong races as 7 furlongs and 184 feet.

I'm looking at the Equibase charts from last week. I see races listed as "turf" (Widener) and "inner turf."

I believe POT's issue isnt with that particular "about" distance at KEE, but with equibase not differentiating it.

They got rid of "about" and replaced it with a new designation, "close enough".
Here's the chart link. I see "Grade 2" and "About 7 Furlongs."
