Just saw their post-scratch decimated card. This used to be the best track in America to bet. Todays card: one 3 horse race, one 4 horse field and a 5 horse field.

I thought the Racing Secretary at CD was Caton Bredar's husband? Is that who you are talking about........

They've already carded a few 1 1/4 mile Maiden races. On a Saturday a few weeks ago they opened their card with one. It drew 5 horses and a 1 to 5 favorite.

Churchill today was under threat of a huge thunderstorm. I stayed home and would have scratched my horse too.

Churchill needs to re think the parking situation while the building continues.

Last time she was on (works, CD? or possibly Derby undercard), it was explained that she was doing remote assignments only, no studio stuff. Of course, they didn't say who initiated that arrangement. I think, like Lifson though, she is not from the west coast.
