That is what they are saying now. We will see if they change their minds in 5 years when they have had umpteen updates to Windows 10.

Plus how will not having a new windows version help computer sales? :confused:Given how much it hurt computer sales when they created Windows Vista and Windows 8, it may not not affect sales may or they may at least be more consistent.

In many cases vendors had to ensure that their Windows 8 machines were backwards compatible with Windows 7 due to the consumer backlash against the new Operating System. It could help reduce prices (not like I believe what I just typed).
