Why should we care where their money is coming from?? It seems to me that they are doing very good though...

Almost every browser is based on the root technology called "Mozilla".
They are a non-profit.
They have about 25 million in assets with about 2 million income. Various contributors.... W3C, governments, organizations...

Opera was introduced as shareware. I think it was $30. It was also ad sponsored for a while.
