The Meadows had a history of racing on the Triple Crown days; but they would schedule it for an evening post time, usually about 45 minutes after the Kentucky Derby was posted official.
Then they decided once the casino was built that they would not race on weekend save those Adios elimination and finals. Once the GM passed on, they returned to racing on Triple Crown days again. Can't recall if they race with the Churchill races or at night but this year they will running their races in the down time between the Derby Card.
What does other tracks do on days that have a Triple Crown race? I for one would rather have it after the CD races instead of in between.
Does not matter for me anyway, as I was told that the Meadows (with its current configuration that benefits the slots and table games) that space is limited and long lines will occur no matter where you are standing or sitting. I will be at home in front of my tv and two computer screens.
