It was supposed to be "The Next Big Thing!" That's what they told me on CNBC, Bloomberg and Fox Business. :lol:

3D printing is big and will become even bigger. Whether that translates to something consumer level or stay within the ranks of manufacturing is yet to be seen. There's plenty of hobbyist level options if you are interested.

As for Stratasys, they are but one company and one who has burned a lot of bridges in the community. Some would argue the industry would be better if they folded but that could be a heated debate :)

I don't claim expertise in this industry, I just know the business channels were pumping these stocks ad nauseum, and now they've collapsed.
