Stuck in Des Moines for weekend

I was wondering if anyone wanted to hook up for some minor OTB play this weekend. I am over by Fairgrounds , but would love to spend a day at the Prairie Meadows the weekend before the Derby.

Lunch on me guys, just like to not sit in my room all weekend.

I was stuck there for 5 days once in the 80's for work.
The night I arrived, Big Foot was sighted by the river.

One morning, I stood in the parking lot and looked east.
It was flat there....so flat, I saw the back of my head!

But great steaks.

Nice track has a casino, it's next to a Theme Park type operation. Very good track food but must watch how much you bet or "you" could be changing the odds.

I think PM is a nice track, but they have live night racing 6pm this weekend and 1pm on Sunday.

Who knows this place very well, it just isn't on my track watch, but hey it is getting better each year, but may watch racing tonight in the clubhouse if seats are available, please join me if you are here. I know a few good players live here, maybe they will see this in time and stop by, we had fun last time we hooked up.

I start my new job with my own truck this coming week, please wish me well, I hope this time all goes well, Good Lord willing.

I spent the week in Iowa. Was passing by Des Moines yesterday AM on the way back to Chicago and gave a little thought to stopping in Altoona to see what PRM was like. I opted not to and went straight home though.
