If you get over $600, I'm pretty sure they will file on you.

The difference with contests from regular wagering,
is that 300-1 does not apply.
$600 in winnings, regardless of the entry fee,
is the threshold, as far as I know.

I got real lucky and won a 1k contest and was wondering how much my Uncle Samuel was going to get. I guess I could call the ADW but was just hoping that they would neglect to report it.

You should be able to look it up online - probably in your account info section.
Any forms they have filed should be accessible.

The $1K will be added to your regular income for that year.
