Smith stays on Far Right so who gets Stanford and madefromlucky?
My guesses 2 of the following:
Florent Geroux
Joe Bravo
Edgar Prado

Didn't he secure his services quickly for the LA Derby? Or, I'd guess the other Ortiz brother if that doesn't pan out.

while 5-1 might be a bold prediction, i think he'll be lower than most think.
would not be surprised to see the horse 5/6-1...i would be surprised to see him >10-1

Here is my latest article on Materiality. I talked with his owners in this one.
Alto Racing's Materiality Runs for Family in Kentucky Derby (https://www.ladyandthetrack.com/news/12397/alto-racings-materiality-runs-for-family-in-kentucky-derby.html)
They believe the inexperience means he will improve.

Nice article, thanks.
I think inexperience means you can improve but kinda tough to count on it as an angle after having a career best effort.

i don't see valezquez sticking to carpie as a sign of anything. the only way he gets off that mount is if the horse ran like crap. he was basically tied to him.
i think material is the better horse
