I remember some guys using a device that resembled a calculator
back in the day that was a horse handicapping device.
Had to be something similar to the slide rule.

Then came Beyer numbers, etc., and computers......

No, I would never sell my Cal-Q-Meter........I keep copies in my safe deposit box and with friends......I would never play again if I lost it........LOL.

Does it resemble the K-2 Calculator?

Loved that fly wheel

The old Kel-co caculator was really a regular caculator with a different front label on it.You could get the same results with a standard caculator. Folks are still selling them on EBay.

My brother bought one these. It picked 64 straight losers at Aksarben in 1974 or 1975. He quit betting after 13, I think, but kept track until it got a winner just see how far it would go. I will say this, it looked damned impressive at the time.
