Sorcerer 1977, directed by Friedkin, remastered for home video in 2014. Currently enjoying a renaissance with the Blu-ray re-issue. Absolute quality in the re-master for those who enjoy Blu-ray. Avoid the DVD.... like a pan and scan transfer where the image is severely restricted by the conversion to 4:3.

I had gotten a copy of the blu ray a few months ago on a friend's recommendation. I had never heard of it.

I just watched it last night. Wow. Wild movie. Quite an Odyssey. The cinematography is fantastic as is the Tangerine Dream soundtrack. Like the way Friedkin used the violence of the rain.
