Sunny,with a high of 75 for opening day,May 9th.

Now for the real question:Without sports betting or slots, how long can it stay open? Will any track other than NY,CAL,FLA remain open past another 5-10 years without subsidization of some sort?

A 2 day a week operation is not ideal. With sports betting, they could expand to 4 days a week to at least resemble somewhat the Monmouth of the past. That is,until PARX starts taking action.

I guess I just long for the days of my youth going to Monmouth every Monday in the summertime.

Monmouth Park lost around $4.5 million last year, and they figure to lose at least that much in 2015.

It's three days a week: Friday-Saturday-Sunday.

And, frankly, that works fine for them. It wouldn't benefit them much to run lousy cards on Thursdays in front of nobody.

And Lambo's right, too. Keep in mind, they were subsidized by AC casinos for more than 30 years, until it was taken away after the 2010 season. So the fact that they've been able to put in a solid program for four seasons now is pretty impressive.

Monmouth has been losing money for years, at least officially. Get your facts straight.

As usual, you're a fountain of nonsense and incorrect information.

Where do you retrieve your information from? I guess that the operators of MP don’t know how to use excel while you are a whiz crunching numbers.
