Winner was 9-1, came from last out wide. 0-33 lifetime with 6 second place finishes. :6: finished about mid-pack, within a length or so of third. Tight finish for the minors.

Race 2 results: :5: :3: :1: :8: Whether the :5: was an underlay or not, he won for fun like he was 2-5, not 9-5. :11: was inside and behind the winner early, tailed off quickly when the serious running started.

Longshot wins at 22-1, late money for :6: and :11: , the :11: finished 5th and just nosed for 4th.

Bit of break until the 5th - Hong Kong covering the 11th race from Chukyo Racecourse in Japan, 6 furlongs with a $1.7M purse. One of the favorites is the HK based :4: AEROVELOCITY, ridden by Zach Purton.

Race 5 results: :5: :11: :3: :1: Argh. Keyed the wrong longer priced horse, as the :11: was 15-1, and got bumped by a tiring :12: in mid-stretch.

Race 6 results: :2: :10: :1: :13: My selection the :8: caught wide with no cover, nice mid race move to get near the leaders, but then faded.

Race 7: :7: each way. Looks good on track, and apprentice gets 10 lbs off (not that it's always a bargain). Saver Qs with :4: :5: :14: . The :5: is chalk and looks tough, but did put on 12 lbs of body weight and 10 lbs of lead weight off his last. the 5-14 Q getting hammered, so the connections of the 14 think he'll be around.

Winner 19-1, easy winner, chalk got 5th. My selection the :7: got a pretty good trip, carried a bit wide at the top of the stretch, and faded.

Jockey challenge actually competative this week, as Moreria might be suffering a bit of jet lag, having ridden in Dubai yesterday.

Race 9: Really like the class and stretch out with the :3: REWARDING HERO - nice place price offset by new jock to circuit. Saver Q with the :7: . Very tough race.

Ugh. What a night. The magic man wins at 9-1, the :3: dog gets his odds cut in half at the post, and does not get the greatest trip. Jock took him back and charged late, but didn't get a clean run.

Ugh, again. :2: has the odds chopped late, starts well, but taken back and can't get close to passing the :6: for a saver tri.
