1

#3 Air Baca

Learning game fast. Can wire field void of early speed with clean break.

#4 Excommunicator

2 career tries have been duds. Regroups now with drop in class, Paucar.

#1 Wine N’ Wilko

Has been nibbling at purses vs. bottom level maidens. Picks up a check.

2

#4 Evil Lad

2 solid route races in a row at MVR. 1 for 43 lifetime a big red flag tho.

#5 Wake Up And Go

Has been chasing top pick around the oval twice. Still can run him down

#2 Road Racer

Only 1 win in 48 races for 7 year old. Switches to Yuri, so he can factor.

3

#1A Candy War

Might be stronger half of Gorham entry. Draws outside of other speed.

#6 Business Casual

Last seen here 6 weeks ago narrowly breaking her maiden by a nose.

#3 Longcoldwinter

Failed as chalk in MVR debut 3-7. Spring is here so don’t bet on name.

4

#2 Maynards Point

Shortens up to 5 panels after game try in the slop 3-4. Bounces back.

#1 Muchacha Macho

5 yr old mare moves into allowance company. Looks like main rival.

#4 Marcasite

Brings blazing early speed to the battle of M’s. Usually folds at half mile

5

#1 Chuckmate

Tampa invader makes MVR debut. Exits many live races. Gets Pilares.

#3 Thank You For Me

4 of 5 2nd place finishes have chalk bettors saying anything but “Thanks’

#4 Brilliant Einstein

Disliked slop on 3-14. Reunites with Ramgeet who was aboard only win

6

#7 Silky Saint

All 4 races at MVR have been live. Houghton gets the best from her.

#3 Glorioso

Capable of making a big move when in the mood to run. Don’t ignore.

#2 Pegasaurus

Makes ’15 debut. Overmatched when trying allowance types at T-Down

7

#3 Pretzel Logic

1st try at MVR was solid. Logical to look for improvement 2nd time here.

#6 Cute Little Devil

Has fired fresh before vs similar stock at Mountaineer. Live longshot.

#4 Fast Fantasy

7 yr old mare has been picking up checks here but rarely passes horses.

8

#4 Separation

Delta Downs shipper can mow them down in race loaded with speed.

#2 Flat Out Nice

5 year old makes 1st start in ’15. Showed plenty of zip at Belterra in ‘14

Hi rrpic6,

I hope you don't mind if I "piggy-back" on what I see are your very good picks.

Race One:

I’m going to toss in 5 Alotlikekarin. The Tale of the Cat-bred gelding was overmatched in maiden-special company in his last; now drops back into “selling” ranks. Even so, caught serious money in last; finished third. What I like is that the 4-year-old turns back a panel and gets one of the track’s leading riders, Christian Pilares.

Race Two:

3 Travelers Dream finished third in this allowance company in his last; he was even gaining ground, albeit on a wet track. I think the stretch out will help this horse. The Pulpit-bred has a second in two tries at the distance. The gelding has hit the tote three times in five tries at MVR; he was second to a runaway winner at a mile a little over a month ago.

Race Three:

4 Pistolannie was second a couple weeks ago in a maiden-special. The ½ panel turn-back won’t hurt. Might just surprise and be part of a gimmick.

Race Six:

1 Say Talk Momka finished third against better at this distance. Did catch action. Switch to Edgar Paucar should help. A high-priced filly who’s hit the tote in seven out of 10 lifetime starts. Richard Zielinski’s a solid trainer who does well with routes.

Race Seven:

1 Sunday Dawn may well have needed his last; second start today off a layoff. Team Rangeet has met with a degree of success in “The Iron Valley”. Does turn back some. Saw action on tote in last. Might complete an exotic.

Race Eight:

6 Judy’s Reflection has been the model of consistency in her last three at this distance. Can she shed the "bridesmaid" role. Beaten fave in last. Trainer Joe Poole is good with beaten favorites. The mare has had four seconds in five tries at MVR.

My thoughts on your wagers:

Race Four Superfecta: 2,4/2,4/1,3/1,3

Race Five .50 Pick 4: 1,3/7,1,3/6,1/2,6

Race Six: .50 Hollywood Hi-5

(one dollar more): 1,7/1,3,4,7/1,3,4/3,4,8/5,6,8

Best of luck to you and everyone on the forum.

Good pick on Race 2 Teach! I shy away from some Trainers 99% of the time, that being one of them. Messed up my Hi-5 ticket:
