4 - Wireless Future - (Scat Daddy x Princess Whinny)
Has been improving nicely and ran very well to win on last in a reasonable good time compared to this field. The trainer has a 32% strike rate with shippers from 898 starters and 31% with winners from the last race . He’s not nominated for the Triple Crown but a victory or a good enough performance will give the owners more confidence.
11 - Metaboss - (Street Boss x Spinning Yarns)
We saw the Street Boss potential in this horse last time out with the run over synthetic. He’s back on synthetic and going 9 furlongs again. Can he do it again? Yes, unlike Royal Son he has the goods to produce on Saturday.
9 - Conquest Typhoon - (Stormy Atlantic x Swanky Bubbles)
Took over the lead turning for home in the El Camino Real Derby but came up empty in the end. He’s better than the rest of the field to us. Hence, the selection but he’s better suited to turf. Expect Mike Smith to get ‘Typhoon’ in a good position early and give him a shot at winning.
